Great Company that really cares about its employees

Pros

It is a great company for those who enjoy relaxed atmosphere, friendly co-workers, employers who try to make the employee feel welcome and appreciated. They are very good at training new employees. Everybody around is ready to share their knowledge and help you when needed. Not to mention 4 weeks of vacation which is very rare and not bad benefits package. Enjoyed my time there and was truly sorry to leave. Great job, Jonah Group!

Pros

JG has a great company culture - they try hard to engage the employees at a personal level. There is a lot of fun and joking in the office, which is appealing to many. Dress code is casual, hours are flexible. Extended vacation and leaves of absence are not uncommon -- they try to promote having a good work-life balance.

Cons

- Programming technology is not the most interesting - The company structure is very flat (2 or 3 levels), so there isn't really anywhere to climb to

Pros

The company has a technical focus with little overhead and a positive culture. I look at it as the best of two worlds: the Enterprise world and the small-company world. We get Enterprise projects and execute them in a nimble, efficient, and fun small-company atmosphere.

Cons

If you are looking for a place to build an empire, this isn't it. If you're looking for a place to hack together simple web or mobile apps, with little process or professionalism, this isn't the place for you.
