Pros

The kids are absolutely wonderful

Cons

Well for starters in the beginning I was told that I would be getting a 90 day review and then a raise. Which did not happen. Also, I was told that I made $8.00 an hour and they ended up paying me 7.75. On my first day there I was thrown into a classroom by myself. I had never worked in childcare before so I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when it came to taking care of 10+ screaming two year olds that had to be put on the potty every 30 minutes. As my first week went on I still never received any type of proper training in the classroom I was in, just had received rude notes from the lead teacher (that leaves at like, 2 in the afternoon) about all of the things I was doing wrong. Working at TLE never got any better after that. I felt miserable most days and was starting to feel as if the owner was using all of us. She is money hungry, does not care about any of the kids, parents, or her employees. The only thing she cared about was the way she made the daycare look. It was always about money and that is all it will ever be about to her. This has been the worst company I have ever worked for and I do not suggest it to anyone that actually wants to be successful.

Pros

There are no advantages of sending your child to this company. There are also no pros of working for this selfish company. I was there two years and all they think about is money and don't care about the children

Cons

They make you teach ridiculous "curriculum" and pay you pennies so corporate can sit back and cash in their paychecks. I was so disgusted working for this company. Words couldn't express how happy I was when I found a REAL teaching job and I was able to put my two weeks in. Within the last two months at my center 10 teachers quit. Corporate doesnt care about turnover. They also ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS bump children around to different classrooms to send teachers home early to save money! They will tell you one thing to your face and you will never know what they do. TERRIBLE COMPANY

Horrible Experience

Pros

Unfortunately, there is not much I can say about The Learning Experience that would fit into the pros section. The facility has potential to be great if only the staff and management were professional.

Cons

My paycheck wasn't received until months later after many phone calls and complaints. Staff to Child ratio does not always meet standards. The staff was very unprofessional. There were times that children were left unattended.
