Pros

Relationship you get to make with the children and their families. The satisfaction of helping a child go into the journey of childhood and see the child meet their milestones.

Cons

In my case was the management and the owners. The owners would often disregard the parents and the employees, of the almost two years I worked I never got a raise. No one got a raise. The director who hired me was amazing but the one that replaced her was the complete opposite. The director that replaced her was extremely condescending and would talk down to her employees. I also never got formally laid off. I was just removed out of the schedule. This is extremely unprofessional. I would expect that I would at least get an email informing me that I was let go. But I did not receive anything.
