Pros

The kids are the best part (the kids younger than 4 ...)

Cons

Wow. Always short staffed, always have rooms with more kids than allowed by state law and always have teachers leaving left and right. This place is a whirlwind. People here are hired by their resume, not their personality. I've seen teachers who are completely disorganized, leaving scissors within reach of toddlers. Teachers who are lazy (giving iPads to children who won't sleep) and Teachers who are downright mean, yelling at kids. Better yet their director is rude herself, to parents/staff ect. But all these people had the qualifications..so they hired them, yikes. There were times when the management asked me to work for free. I wish I could give details but I'd like to remain anonymous. Anyways. Avoid this place like the plague.

Pros

The children of course! Watching them grow one by one. The staff here are kind and always make sure the children are learning and well tended to. Most of the parents are very welcoming and very kind too. Our director is very sweet and kind as well.

Cons

I’m not too fond of the curriculum. In my own opinion, 20 years of working with children, I’ve always made age-appropriate activities for them. This is the first place I’ve worked at that has their own lesson plans but most of the lessons are not age appropriate. Lack of communication and management paperwork needs work. Perhaps training from an organizer or someone who can help how to professionally manage a business. It’s always ok to ask for help!
