Pros

TML supplies free breakfast and a monthly staff lunch, each team organises. If you cast your mind back to the 90s staff Christmas bashes, that's what we have. It's nothing to write home about. Christmas celebrations take place in the office, featuring pizza and booze with a DJ. It's akin to a home garage party. Not particularly thrilling, but that's just the way it is. It's remained unchanged for years.

Cons

Working at TML feels like a throwback to the 90s. Processes and mindsets are decidedly old-school with minimal innovation, except in the security division where I'm stationed. Our office environment is very dated, hardly modern in any way, and often quite dirty—especially our desks. Working in this environment means you don't often see many people at once, especially our Directors who opt to work from home a lot. While people generally get along, there's a lot of politics, inappropriate behaviours, and favouritism. For a company that purports to uphold certain values, adherence to them is lacking in some quarters. Your treatment here depends largely on who you are and what you can get away with. HR capabilities are questionable at times. Operations at TML are similarly antiquated, with a very old-school mindset that overestimates its knowledge. I work here for my own reasons, but if you're seeking further senior career development in an innovative environment, this isn't the place. Managers aren't necessarily experienced, often promoted from more junior roles, which shows. The benefits we receive here are very slim and again reminiscent of something you'd have received back in the 90s. Bonuses are dependent on our Line of Business performance and our own. Everyone takes part in a 360-degree feedback process. Even this process is often questioned by many of us given the questionable feedback on its accuracy. Some use it as an opportunity to criticise someone behind their back. Not useful. Considering the bigger picture or proposing change is good but seldom listened to. Those who have been with the company for years know better apparently!

Free cereal, bread and fruits

Cons

Terrible management. Lack of HR department to resolve internal issues. The only people in management are part owners of the business.

A deserving organising for someone who values hard work, team spirit, camaraderie and a place where culture is key to everything.

Cons

Office building is quirky but doesnt worry me as I am remote
