Pros

The Conservancy undeniably has a great mission. The people are what make this organization an amazing place. The organization is large and geographically diverse, so there are lots of opportunities to move around and it is encouraged. Benefits are great.

Cons

New management are mostly from Goldman Sachs. Nothing wrong with that, but it can affect culture. Lots of large-scale goals that can be hard to achieve without effective priorities. Management makes decisions that seem flippant. TNC does not do change well and it moves very slowly.

Pros

Very bright people. Fantastic outlook on the role people play with nature. Unlike most extreme nature organizations, the Conservancy is very open to reaching across the table. Very cool and innovative developments. Good salaries and benefits for a nonprofit. Good reputation. Strong culture.

Cons

Leadership is off balance. Too many 50-something white guys leading the helm and not enough women or racially diverse leaders.
