Pros

All of the staff and volunteers were super friendly and really wanted to help me learn and explore my interests. The preserve was beautiful and I had many opportunities to get involved in fun activities outside of work too.

Cons

The location was incredibly beautiful, but somewhat remote.

Pros

- highest salaries i've seen in the conservation sector - great benefits (medical, dental, vision, 10 days off when start up to 25 at the 5 year mark, etc) -opportunity for growth is you play the game

Cons

- some teams can very toxic - people get promoted to people leadership positions from technical roles without support on how to be a good manager - decentralized leadership model makes things confusing
