Pros

I get to do work that I am passionate about and see how our work tangibly makes a difference in our world. I appreciate the political and cultural diversity at TNC. I think our diversity is a crucial part of making our work realistic and objectively helpful to all people. In part, I enjoy my job at TNC so much because I feel empowered to do what I am good at for the benefit of my entire team.

Cons

A company this size will always have difficulty managing what decisions are for our team to make versus the team above us. It's tough when the two don't necessarily align because it breeds tension throughout the organization and can make things hard to get done.
