Pros

The Nature Conservancy runs highly functionally and compensates employees very well. In addition, there are many opportunities for career advancement, albeit sometimes unclear ones. Many very bright people who complete their job well. The work of TNC is significant and impactful.

Cons

To me work life balance seemed strained. All of my team members were signing off late and stressed out. Moreover, the team leads set an intense culture of perfectionism and micro management. Throughout the organization there was a general sentiment of protection of reputation at all costs. There was no leadership from the top on equity. Internal communication was frequently disjointed and unclear.
