Pros

I feel like I must say that the culture at this organization is top notch, and this is attributable to the professionalism on display in every department whether HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, Government relations, the administrative office staff, the scientists, etc. Not to mention the executive leadership team and the board of directors. To have this kind of culture is no small feat and it's obvious that HR works hard to onboard new people and make them aware of all the standard operating procedures and ethics guidelines that are there to protect everyone and the organization. As a new employee of about 6 months, I was awestruck by how welcoming and diverse the organization truly is. The systems that are in place ensure that you have the ability to be really successful here and that your work is valued. Your input is also valued, and I highly respect my managers and their experiences and look forward to tapping their knowledge and wisdom as I continue on my journey here. What's also admirable is TNC's focus on their staff as people and their goal of having a true work-life balance at the organization. It's no wonder I have colleagues who have been here for decades. I can honestly say that I am motivated to do my job to the best of my ability and learn as much as I can with the hopes of career advancement in the future.

Cons

The organization is open to feedback, and it does seek to improve. They ask you what they could be doing better so they never rest on their laurels. So, I don't really have cons. Well, if I were to say one thing maybe it would be that perhaps more frequent communications and a settled philosophy on how people will work post-covid (well, post the 2020 lockdown version of covid) would be welcome.
