Pros

Great organization for helping people reenter society. Excellent fatherhood program and children sponsored activities.

Cons

Grant funded program. Employment opportunities can close at any moment and there could be no more work.

Pros

The organization is really focused on helping males during and after incarceration. They are dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by incarceration; especially the children.

Cons

A lot of the programs are grant funded. Grants management is not that great at applying for and/or getting funds. Main focus is of men formerly and currently incarcerated with little or no focus on their women partners. Lack of programs for women affected by the incarceration of their loved one whether an intimate partner or child. Most positions offered are part-time and in a correctional facility. Part-time positions do not offer benefits. Many part-time positions do not lead to full-time. Clients are treated better than staff.
