A small organization that like to think big but lost it's family togetherness a long time ago
Pros
During the awards show season, there is very little work-life balance, but during the quiet times it's actually pretty free to grow yourself. Compensation is not bad, not great but not on the low end either. The biggest perks of course are access to the awards shows and events if you your job has some connection to those events. Otherwise you should expect a kind of close but not close enough type of exposure to the awards show. You do get tickets to the main show though which is nice.
Cons
Departments seem to be getting a bit top-heavy with lots of middle management, however I feel that executive management is either top-notch or bottom-rung. It's the lower-quality senior executives that really bring the place down and hold the company back as a whole. Given how small the company is, this can have a disproportionate effect on the company and people who work here. So this means that there is a lot more unnecessary politics and CYA then is necessary and juvenile turf-wars than is necessary. Think of a spooled version of the Waltons. If you can isolate yourself away from these kinds of shenanigans then you might actually find it's not a bad place to work.
