Poor Training

Pros

Company did provide health benefits, gas allowance and bonus incentives.

Cons

Bad marriage between Radio Shack and Sprint. This is evident by poor sales in 4th quarter 2016. Sprint removed from all RS locations and RS declares bankruptcy. When TROC turned store back over to Sprint, it caused TROC employees to lose their job and low incentive bonus (a joke really). Please be careful working for TROC, because if the contract goes sideways, the rank and file employees will be out the door.

Pros

75% off phone bill. Customers were great. Health Benefits. Trying real hard to get 20 words for pros, not many.

Cons

No training. Commissions not as promised. Blatantly lie to customers, just to make an extra buck! Slow Internet makes it difficult to help customers. They don't care about Work/Life balance. Worked 2 months open to close with NO DAYS OFF, seriously not being dramatic.....Open to close with NO DAYS off for 2 months.

Pros

Was a company with great management that cares about the employees and supports growth. Many opportunities are some what flexible and you can pick up new skills for your resume.

Cons

The company has changed and no longer respects it's employees or management. Be prepared for paycuts to keep your job. Never receiving a raise because they are a contract company. High cost of insurance if you are eligible. Lots of promises of growth and new projects. If you are a "favorite" you might get to try something new, but don't expect to ever be safe no matter how well you work.
