Pros

-The opportunity for growth- you can take yourself wherever you put your mind to -The diverse group of like-minded senior managers. We all are here for more than just a paycheck-we love our company and our mission -While some are here seasonally, investing in our long-term leads/supervisors is so rewarding because you get to watch your people grow and improve in their personal and professional life! -The enriching environment with our employees. We have such a diverse group of people and it is eye-opening to see how many truly different types of people we employee -The level of investment in senior and hourly management from regional and corporate management (including site visits, knowing our names and interests and the mentorship program)

Cons

-Being a seasonal job is difficult because you develop relationships and care for the seasonal staff that we unfortunately can't give hours to during the slow season -Unbalanced distribution of workload -Not being able to offer full-time benefit eligible positions to those who do a lot for us -Long hours -Not being able to pay a competitive amount for A-team line and cashier staff (even though we are industry competitive)

Solid culture, but lacking real benefits.

Pros

Nice small family feel with a pleasant culture. There are some nice unexpected benefits. There is room for growth within the company. Lots of autonomy.

Cons

Terrible 401k matching. The health insurance plans are very expensive. Weak bonuses. Casual environment is becoming less casual (no jeans, more policies).

We appreciate your feedback. It helps us to keep focus on always improving our employees experience with SSA. Our Executive team is currently looking into 401k Plans and Health Care. We understand the importance of both of these and will continue to work hard at providing various benefits to our employees.

Pros

Employees get to work in some of the coolest environments There is lots of growth opportunities for managers The company is socially responsible There's a huge emphasis on mentorship and professional development

Cons

Majority of the jobs are seasonal Compensation for frontline staff is not awesome. Pretty much in-line with the industry standard Would like to see more standardized training across the board More modern technology is an area of opportunity

We agree! We do have some pretty amazing locations we get to work at and feel lucky to be in a business that partners with great communities and engaging cultural and iconic attractions. Thank you for the advice on training and technology. These are two areas we know we have opportunity in and will continue to work at resources for both.
