      seasonal cashier (hired late in the season)

      Pros

      Plenty of hours available. You're rarely doing the same thing from one day to the next, so the job is always interesting. Management are generally good people. Because I was hired late in the season and they were desperate for help, I (and others hired at the same time as me) was hired at a slightly higher-than-minimum wage- most non-management people start at minimum. Surprisingly, I was even able to put in a decent amount of overtime.

      Cons

      The hours were available because they were woefully understaffed; this is also the reason I never did the same thing day to day. Overtime was available because you can give seasonal workers overtime without benefits, unlike non-seasonal workers.

      Pros

      The pros of this company are that they look out for their employees and ensure the happiness and effectiveness while in the workplace

      Cons

      Work can be sometimes exhausting and dull, some equipment could be updated for safety and cleanliness issues, and some upper level management could be groomed more professionally

      Pros

      The company is very up and coming. They allow overtime which is very nice in regards to the money you will make.

      Cons

      As an Office Manager I didn't receive any STD or LTD as benefits because I was an hourly manager. The Upper Management here is very discriminatory. Many managers have quite due to this fact. This company wants you to be married to the job and doesn't have a good balance of work/home life.
