Lots of opportunities

Pros

There is a lot of opportunities for promotion or hiring within the company. They are a fast growing, young company that feeds off of ideas from others. They are not your traditional company and instead making strides to become your more modern company tailoring to the young people within the company.

Cons

Some areas need improvement Communication between people or departments may be a little difficult at times Help can be difficult at times as there are a lot of numbers involved in strategies that are put in place and not a lot of input from the people at the properties. You need to understand how to come to the table with ideas and being analytical about items.

Great Company to Work For!

Pros

Scion is a great company to work for. Everyone is a team and is always willing to help out. They have so much training and helpful materials to help make learning/ doing the job easier. I love the support I get, from not only my team onsite, but also from upper management in the company. They are always working to help you reach your full potential.

Cons

It is really hard to step away from the responsibilities and truly take time off. As a manager I am constantly getting calls on weekends and nights which makes it hard to relax and take time for myself.

Pros

People in the company genuinely care. Competitive pay makes up for no housing concessions. Fun/competitive environments helps with growth and creativity. If you own your role, there is plenty of room for advancement. When you get corporate support, they come in and teach you what they're doing so your team can replicate the results and continue to have success.

Cons

The work hours can be overwhelming if you're not ready for them. You can feel like a small fish in a big pond if you don't put yourself out there. Hiring process takes too long to fill vacant positions.
