Pros

They are slowly getting rid of all the pros.

Cons

There is no security, you will be fired at moments notice. Incompetent managers will created reasons to get you fired with no warning and no discussion. 1 manager is quite possibly the most under qualified person I've ever worked for. In my short time he got 3 people fired for questioning his work ethic and knowledge.

Spiraling Downward

Pros

The corporate office tries to emit a positive culture and bring everyone together, even if for a simple lunch. I always thought that was a nice gesture. There were always baby showers or birthday events which made you feel like part of a mini family. However, that is usually where it stopped. Great views in the office as well. If you're going to be stuck at a desk from 8 AM to 7 PM at least you have a nice view to stare off at.

Cons

Micromanagement is one of the largest cons I have about this company. Being at corporate level it was wild to have a manager breathing down my neck and talking behind my back when I didn't work until 9 PM. It doesn't stop there though, it comes from the top. There are many people in high positions who are breathing down the your manager's back, thus spiraling to you. Lack of communication within corporate - seriously, it is a mess. One department thinks X is happening while the other department thinks Z is happening. Both departments work on their respective tasks to find out that senior management actually decided Y was happening and forgot to trickle it down. Always great to do triple the work and then be scolded when your other work falls behind. Lack of communication to the properties - there would be multiple times policies were just casually rolled out to the properties with NO warning. One day you do what you've been doing for six months, the next it is act as if you've never heard that old policy and here is our new one. I always felt so horrible for the property level team because I remember being at that level and having to hear the backlash from residents. I apologize to you all on behalf of this mess of a company.
