Pros

The Stepping Stones group has been great to work for in the school setting. My clinical manager is responsive and helps with any questions or difficulties I may have throughout the school year. If you are just looking for an hourly job as an SLP, this company is great.

Cons

SSG does not offer any 401k matching and has changed to a more expensive health insurance plan. There are not very many options for benefits that are helpful for their employees to save for the future. If you are someone looking to move upward in their career as an SLP, or to potentially earn more over time, this is not the best company as they are limited by the school districts budget and not willing to go up in pay from year to year.

Pros

Regarding when clients hit their goals .Techs are supportive and make environment fun.

Cons

Management not supporting, micromanaging when they should focus on staff needs especially when they need assistance right away , when staff needs emotional support and it is not there only other techs support them.when asked to be lead they dismissed it.

Cheap; demeaning

Pros

They offer some flexible schedules

Cons

Very very stingy with pay. Always finding excuses to deny you a raise or a bonus, they’ll even deny you a cost of living adjustment (how on earth does that legally happen??). Anything money related is weird with them. They only wanna praise you with a stupid “shoutout” on teams. I was even discouraged from moving up, being told I “wouldn’t like” the position.
