Pros
Tell you what...If you loved drinking beer and got a job as a beer taster at your favorite brewery, would you have something to complain about? I've been on board with this company for 6 years and wouldn't dream of doing anything else. Sure, you have to work hard at what you do. Of course there are aspects of this job that you may not like. Guess what? This is called a J.O.B.! The pay is about the highest in the industry. We have all the benefits that one could ask for. The company is growing quickly which allows plenty of room for advancement...If you apply yourself. I have supported a family of 4 singlehandedly and I'm far from the top salesperson! When candidates are interviewed, they are told the truth. I personally know a person that sells over $100,000 per month. That's about $10,000 in commission each month! You do have to know how to talk to people and yes, sometimes you have to work a little to make the sale. That is part of working a commission job. I myself do not look at this job as a job. I get to go to work, hang out with good hearted people, assist customers in choosing the right design for their space and get paid on top of all that!!! Doesn't sound like a bad job to me! I think that the best part of the job compared to other jobs is that the company can train you to do exactly what it takes to make money! If you are successful then the manager is successful. If the manager is successful then the store is successful. If the store succeeds then the company grows. Why wouldn't they teach you everything needed to be successful? Not teaching and catering to the needs of the employee is grounds for company suicide! I really don't think a lot of these reviews are being truthful. These disgruntled former employees did not listen to their managers and insisted on doing things their own way expecting money to fall from the ceiling.
Cons
You do have to actually talk to people instead of playing Candy Crush on your cell phone to make money. You do have to help keep the showroom clean and presentable. You do have to follow company policies. They don't just hand out paychecks to lazy people. And last but not least, they don't know the winning lottery ticket numbers to powerball!
