I was hired with the promise of moving up in the company but of the couple of years that I worked there, I never got a raise. This company dangles promotions in your face to keep you on board. After years of layoffs, our locations went from a 8 man team down to a 3 man team. It was impossible to take off or to take a sick day without having to worry that it was be inconvenient to my other coworker or manager. The location of our store was in a dangerous mall, first of all, and in a dead location. So we went from a vibrant store that positively affected people’s lives, to a money hungry retail store that had unrealistic sales goals. Definitely a bummer and it really made me regret quitting my previous job for it.
