Pros

They don't put kids in solitary or restrain, staff are generally good people trying their best with impossible standards. There truly isn't much good to say.

Cons

The culture, the lies, the mean and cruel way employees are treated. No room for advancement, no gratitude for doing extra, terrible training, awful management which never takes accountability for the problems they create. Not a good place to grow as a person. It's a horrid work culture that is the very definition of a hostel work environment. The management is impossible to please. It's almost as if they take pleasure in tearing people down. They lie to clients and employees alike, management never owns their mistakes and instead blames staff who are overworked and unsupported. The high turn overrate means a chaotic work environment. Thirdway claims they are different from other RTC's but the only difference is they don't restrain kids. Much of what they say to get clients is a lie. The kids don't eat organic, the aroma therapy is nothing more than glade air fresheners, the music therapy is nothing more than a couple CDs which play non stop. They may give you 200 hours of vacation after five years but good luck getting to use it. It's not a place I would recommend for anyone to work unless they like being torn down. Better watch your checks as they have shaved peoples overtime in the past. Management always taking vacation and receiving pay raises even though staff struggles to get either.
