Corporate and district management played favorites, and selectively chose to reward/punish/promote/demote people at their whim.
Extremely long hours for management (60-80+ hours a week) if you're salaried.
Training is a joke, they try to impose higher standards and quality, false promises, and overall excellence, but the menus aren't even correct. Marketing is a hilarious joke, as is payroll and HR consistency. Corporate emphasizes Yelp reviews when the restaurant doesn't even have the correct desserts and the place is falling apart.
Management teams are routinely switched around and some people get a lot of money while others get demoted. Some managers are let go without warning, and others get shuttled around different stores. The staff turnover is even higher. There is no way to uphold standards and excellence when the culture is constantly changing and there is no way to set a framework for continued success.
Good luck getting your staff to work harmoniously and effectively, because some of them don't even get paid the correct rate/hours every other Friday.
