Pros
Beautiful hotel. Decent benefits. Good Location
Cons
Poor Management. Poor Communication. The top manager barely speaks to employees and cultivates them vs. us culture. He also runs the San Antonio Thompson. Employees are not supported or adequately celebrated. The Human Resources lead is biased, and the leadership only endorses the advancement of their clique of friends. The person over housekeeping was placed over the front desk when qualified and experienced personnel were in that department. Why? She is part of their circle of friends. Others with the education and experience to advance were not supported with help advancing into other roles. There have been several complaints of discrimination (guests and employees) and an unfair or hostile working environment for blacks, but it's swept under the rug. If the investors or residents knew how poorly that place was run, including the issues with security and maintenance, they would be livid.
