Pros

Free cheap soda, Partial gym membership re-reimbursement

Cons

Politics - employees treated like bots - messed up unclear strategy - FX services leadership is immature. employees both senior and junior feel lost after the recent changes and layoffsand re-orgs - employees laid off in the name of complexity reduction but instead a bunch of consultants hired who basically run the place now! Bad Benefits, worst health insurance, no health center at work

Work hard and you will still be let go at a moment's notice.

Pros

Huge global company with plenty of opportunities to move around to different departments and develop new skills. Pay is good and on par to the rest of the market.

Cons

Constant layoffs create skeleton teams left to run the business, spreading remaining employees thin. As the case with most layoffs, the hardest workers are those to be let go first, while middle managers who possess no unique skills get to stay. Management will let you go without any notice and little appreciation for the hard work you put in. You can stay till the wee hours of the morning accomplishing hard work, only to be shown the door the first thing on the next day. Sad to see this latest round of layoffs affect individuals with families to care for and mouths to feed.

Pros

work life balance; few more annual leaves than usual

Cons

Keep selling their assets in order to beautify its book for the shareholders. It is ridiculous to see an IT company outsourcing many of its IT businesses. They think they are Google rather than a FinTech company - trying to do research in AI. Hiring technology roles in that areas while outsourcing existing roles.
