Thank you for sharing your experience. We take all feedback seriously and want to address your concerns directly. We're sorry to hear your time with us ended on a difficult note. However, we do want to clarify a few points for anyone reading this review. All compensation details — including commission structure and payout terms — are clearly outlined in the offer letter that each team member reviews and signs prior to joining. We strive to be fully transparent about these terms from the start, and commission is paid in accordance with what was agreed upon in that documentation. Regarding training: our onboarding is a genuine investment in our people. Over the four-week period, new team members are trained, certified, and then begin running appointments independently. Ongoing development continues each week, and we pair our team with managers and trainers for regular ride-alongs to support their long-term growth — not just initial onboarding. We regret that this experience felt otherwise, and we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to address any specific concerns. Please reach out to our HR team so we can better understand what happened and work toward a resolution.

Pros

Gas Reimbursement, is the only pro.

Cons

Training was contradictary. You make a paltry amount in training, and the training pay ended prior to the end of mandatory traing. We went through training a few times and went on more than a dozen ride-along, all of which contradicting each other. Then we had to drive out NE, for more training, which contradicted the training we sat through first. Forced to share a room with someone who snored louder than could be drowned out with earplugs. The training was only effective in removing confidence. Those at the coporate training, who should be expected to set an example, wouldn't stop with loud and disrespectful side conversations. You soon find that unless your nose is pretty deep up there, the company doesn't treat you with any respect. It is truly a juvenile boys club filled with unjustifiable massive egos. The weekly meetings are pointless, only serving as a dismall lecture about not making numbers. Promotions were thrust upon unprepared people, shortening the careers of those promoted. They were used as scapegoats by the company for not making unachieveable sales numbers During the initial interviews they talk so big about making a huge amount of money, only to find out by the published sales numbers, no one in the state makes anything close to those numbers. I retain proof. They entice you to leave decent paying jobs, are dishonest about having ridiculously high turnover and don't know their rear ends from their elbows. Even worse, they hire a bunch of people to get through summer appointments, lay out a process promising help to learn, but then argue with each other on what they are supposed to be advising. The few guys that have been there then contradict the trainers. Then comes the practice of letting people go, just before they get paid on a job. It cuts commission from around 10% to 3% then they supplement the favored few with jobs you have sold to claim making your numbers is even possible. They will send someone 40 miles to a location that is 5 miles from another worker and send them to where you live. My closing rate fell after I was bullied, and it's that behavior that adds to an already atrocious amount of turnover. If you are hard up and need a job, at least record the interview, keep all copies of sales numbers or take a picture of the Monday numbers. DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING! Note: Even though the people I critisized, prior to editing this review, are pictured and listed as the face of the local market, I was restricted from even alluding to them. The CEO has no conscience and only cares about money, Any care for customers has been long abandoned and the company has no remaining soul.

We’re really sorry to hear that this was your experience — and even more sorry that you left feeling let down by a company that strives to be different. It’s clear from your feedback that there were breakdowns in communication, consistency, and support, and we take that seriously. Sales at Thrasher is a complex, high-performance role, and we know we have to get the training and expectations right — not just once, but over time. While many have found long-term success here, we fully acknowledge the process didn’t work for you. That’s on us to keep improving. Your passion for fairness, clarity, and follow-through is loud and clear. While we may not agree with everything stated, we do agree that our people deserve to be heard, supported, and set up to succeed — and we’ll continue working to ensure that’s true for every teammate, in every market. We wish you the best going forward, and we appreciate the honesty.

Pros

All of the salesman complain to each other so it builds great team bonding for the 4 hours you see them a week

Cons

- Extremely poor leadership - Even worse middle management. They will ridicule your sales but every appointment they go on they never sell anything so it’s extremely hypocritical - You’ll get put on a PIP in 60 days if you’re not meeting their “high standards” even though their training is 2 weeks long and all it is, is making you memorize word for word the script they want you to say - If you don’t go word for word on the script you’ll get written up - Install crew messes up most jobs leaving you to handle the situation - You’re in your car all day. $10,000 mileage reimbursement which you’ll hit in 5 months. The 7 months left your our of pocket on your own gas - Buy your own tools - Thrasher is priced 50% higher than all competition. Get ready to have most of your jobs get cancelled after a day or two because they got another quote. - in the time span I was there which wasn’t very long there was a list of people fired and a decent amount of people who quit. The turnover here is crazy
