Pros

Comparable salary for the area. They celebrate certifications, and recognize the people who want to improve their practice through advanced schooling. Shared governance. Updated electronic medical record system. Senior administration approachable. Building being updated.

Cons

Some what stuck in the past, trying to have a more modern outlook, but needs work. Limited CNE offerings. They make it difficult for someone with an ADN to get employment there. Limited unlicensed assisting personnel leaving a larger workload for nurses.

Clinical Director's until death do they part!!!

Pros

Management never changes so you always know who to go to in the chain of command.

Cons

This hospital is soooooo top heavy with Clinical Directors and their Assistant Head Nurses there is no money left for the nursing staff left to care for the patients. The nursing staff are so guilt laden because the management team is forever preaching about the budget and cutting costs.
