The Worst Ever....

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

There is a kitchen on-site.

Cons

Everything else. No paid sick time, so the whole office is sick between October and March. No rollover vacation time. The worst managers I've ever met (And I'm over 30 years into my career) Churn and burn is the rule rather than exception. Turnover is astronomical. No Competitive advantage from anybody else in the space. False promises abound. The company is going to be sold soon. I would avoid it at all costs. The positive reviews here are by upper management, and I would surmise recommended by Jerry the CEO himself. A terrible CEO as well. He praises the culture "now" but it's worse than ever. Low morale abounds. Highly NOT recommended. Look elsewhere. Anywhere else.

It’s a company preparing itself to be sold

Pros

Hmm I guess a consistent paycheck

Cons

Every Quarter now they are restructuring to reduce headcount and improve margins. The added stress on remaining employees is not a concern as this company will sell itself before long-term problems set in. There is ZERO investment made in any employees, if you want a cert or tuition assistance you will be laughed out your bosses door. It’s hard to imagine how a technology company doesn’t want to invest in the knowledge of its employees but then again why would a company do that if it’s about to be sold? So I guess that makes sense. It’s a culture of fear and anxiety, don’t question leadership, always be available at any time to work and don’t expect anything in return for your hard work and dedication. I’ve never worked anywhere where a company expected more from their employees and provided less in return. Just like the other comments please be aware that these 5 star reviews were planted by HR. They know the word is out this company sucks and they gotta try and hold it altogether until a buyer is found. Joining Tierpoint was a mistake, don’t do what I did.

Toxic and demoralizing

Pros

mid to senior level managment and the c-level thinks a lot of themself microwaves and coffee machines work 99% of the time

Cons

mid to senior level managment and the c-level thinks a lot of themself. many of these positive reviews are plants by the organization to increase their score. they continue to fail at anything resembling leadership. many just push the “stuff” downhill and take on none of the accountability. “teamwork” exists until it’s time to take accountability for bad decisions force fed to employees. micromanagement thrives. runaway chaos through all areas. bringing concerns upwards is as effective as talking to a wall. losing good people in droves because of management and inability to inspire or foster engagement or professional growth. insanity. gossip. no room allowed to fail.
