Pros
The benifits package available to Tillamook County Creamery Association employees is one of the best in Oregon even though it takes a 6 month probationary period before all benefits such as life insurance, 401k, and stock options kick in. Also, employees regularly enjoy paid workshops, seminars, and even out-of-state business trips to expand their knowledge of the field.
Cons
The plant runs 24/7 which makes it difficult to manage holiday rotations for all workers. Much is expected out of each worker and 10 to 12 hour shifts are the norm.
