Pros

My experience with Timberland Partners thus far has been nothing but amazing. The culture is one of trust, acceptance, and support. There is plenty of work to do everyday, but if you are dedicated and exercise great time management, you will experience a well balanced work and life schedule. Processes and reporting are thorough but not complicated. Expectations are clear and consistent. Every team member is valued. The owner calls random team members every month just to say hello and ask what he can do to make their employment the best it can be. Local and home office leadership is present in your every day needs and offers the type of support that you would expect from your best friend. The company implements changes that strategically improves productivity and maintains the highest team member morale. Every year, different team members are selected to be on advisory committees, representing administrative and maintenance teams so that every voice can be heard in the company. Changes are implemented based on these committees and their representation of their peers. All communities are closed on Sunday.

Cons

Insurance benefits are good with many options available to meet an individuals need. Generally, the premiums are competitive but deductibles and out of pocket are a little high. Bonuses are easily achieved, but slightly lower than what I have experienced with other companies. However, I have discovered that the slightly lower bonus potential is more easily achieved. And it is paid monthly instead of semi annually or annually. I feel confident that based on the bonus structure at Timberland Partners that my annual bonus will meet or exceed other higher bonus potentials that I have experienced.

Pros

Great coworkers, Micromanagement doesn't exist, treated with the utmost respect, given responsibilities not tasks, generally a pleasant place to work, cooperate only gets involved when asked to or there's major financial decisions need to be made.

Cons

Lower than average pay, the work load can be overwhelming at times, strict against overtime.
