Ground-level teams are solid, but leadership needs to align strategy with execution
Pros
The interview process was honestly one of the best I’ve experienced. It felt like a meaningful two way conversation, not a checklist. The hiring managers and the team were transparent, aligned, and genuinely excited to bring in the right people. Onboarding was structured, and the immediate team culture fostered collaboration and growth. There’s a lot of passion and dedication at the ground level, and I felt like I could trust the manager and team I was joining.
Cons
There’s a disconnect at the leadership level where decisions sometimes feel out of touch with what’s happening on the ground. Sudden changes are made without much context, and it often feels like the people affected weren’t fully considered in the process. It would have been nice to see more female representation, especially in leadership roles. Diversity at the top brings valuable perspectives and can inspire other women and minorities within the company to see their own path to leadership. When people are eager to contribute, unclear and rushed decisions can erode trust. Better communication and alignment would go a long way in keeping teams engaged and motivated.
