Pros

Ability to make a impact

Cons

Under staffed, leadership that gives mixed signals, pay, hours, holidays off are extremely limited, having to work on black friday and the Saturday after when your typical hours dont include Saturday, benefits are awful, having to pay for parking down town, a benefits department that has no idea what they are doing consistently messing up benefits accounts, no raises durring quarterly reviews, lack of accountability in managers. More benefits and better treatment of field employees. Removed work from home 1 day a week.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you recognize the opportunity to make an impact, which is something we value across every role. Black Friday and the following Saturday are critical days for our business, and our Home Office team focuses on supporting store operations during that time. We make every effort to clearly communicate these expectations during the interview process so there are no surprises. We also understand that parking in downtown Cincinnati can be challenging. To help offset this, we offer parking support, including monthly reimbursements and access to discounted rates with nearby garages. Pros

-Holiday Pay -Decent Discounts -Fast Paced

Cons

-Work hours often exceeded the stated 40-hour limit, with 50–60+ hours being common in practice depending on management expectations. -Compensation did not always align with workload or responsibilities, even at higher-volume locations. -Communication from corporate and local management could be inconsistent at times. -Work environment could be high-stress and, at times, feel more negative than typical for the industry. -Expectations for performance were high, with limited additional incentives or support provided. -Workplace culture could occasionally involve interpersonal conflicts or drama. -Sales practices sometimes placed pressure on employees to prioritize closing transactions over full transparency with customers. -Pricing on some services appeared higher compared to competitors in the area. -Employees were often expected to use personal vehicles for work-related tasks (e.g., picking up tires) without reimbursement, sometimes requiring extended travel times.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad you highlighted some positives like holiday pay, discounts, and the fast-paced environment. We are disappointed that you felt unsupported during your time with us. We understand that working in this industry means working long hours, and our sales roles are structured so that additional effort can translate into higher earnings through overtime and commission opportunities. If you're open to sharing more about your experience, please reach out to Let's Talk letstalk@tirediscounters.com - we are here to listen and help.

Pros

Great organization to work for, I’ve been promoted multiple times within this company. Daily coaching training and mentoring. For the comment listed below seems to be a disgruntled ex employee which clearly had accountability issues. We trained not only daily but monthly so for that individual to say anything less is absurd especially given their role within the organization. There was also comment made regarding cussing staff members out in which has never been the case within this organization, especially given the fact I worked for the same ZVP in this zone , must’ve been a long time ago.

Cons

Hard to give them cons when I’ve worked for other organizations, keep doing what you’re doing.
