Pros

Good environment Don't have to do tire work and rarely do fluid work If it's busy, can make from $17-$30 an hour depending on how quick you work

Cons

Sometimes when equipment goes down or shop supplies get low, it can take weeks to months to be repaired or resupplied. If there isn't much going on, you won't be getting much income. Most shops are relatively small so you will either be waiting for a bay to work out of at times or have to work outside if the job allows Long days and typically 50-55 hours per week

Thank you for your feedback and for being part of the TD Family. Sounds like you are in a busy store and need supplies and working equipment to keep you busy and your customers happy. Our current process for ordering supplies should have your store replenished within 48 hours. With equipment repair, your repair requests go direct to the vendor that repairs that item – we cut out the middle man. Sometimes repairs take some time but our vendors understand our commitment to our customers and have the same sense of urgency to get you back up and running. If there is ever a breakdown in these processes, make sure to let someone on your field support staff know – Regional Manager, Regional Director, HRBP. They are there to help.
