Pros

Working in restaurants in the field Stock options Massive opportunity to learn Middle management is great and so are your teammates. Great, collaborative team atmosphere despite being remote in the field. 100% the best product on the market. You have that confidence going into meetings. Comped meals each day

Cons

Tons of information to start - steep learning curve Work/life balance is hit or miss Can be high-pressure (but so is every sales position) Shrinking territories as the company grows. Feel like you need to do more with less.

Nothing honestly, you can find a company that treats you better elsewhere

Cons

Very sales bro cultured with no investment in your personal growth. The second you're not performing to their standards you will be let go. You can find a better place to work elsewhere

Pros

Insurance, benefits, company provided equipment.

Cons

Unfortunately like many companies Toast was hit hard by the pandemic, however, I feel that they cut too hard too fast, and absolutely killed everything that both employees and customers alike enjoyed about the company itself. Pre-Covid-19 The culture and company was thriving, it was "the place to be", however once Covid hit the restaurant industry the leadership team took DRASTIC measures - and were pretty sketchy about how and why they did some of the things that they did. When you wipe out an entire department just to "rebrand them" and over work your employees it isn't a good feel. Not only did the Toast Customers feel the pain the employees did as well.
