Thanks for your feedback. We work a lot on culture, which is critical to a great work environment. Quentin, our CTO, has done a great job creating the most diverse office in TouchTunes, with people from all over the world. I hear you on comp. We work hard to offer rewards in line with the market, although that has been challenging in the last 18 months with so much hiring in technology. We welcome employee feedback on this and will do our best to address any concerns here. -Ross, CEO

Pros

- Work life balance (flexible on days off) - Lots of room to take ownership outside of your normal responsibilities (great for young devs who wan't to quickly gain experience)

Cons

- Office culture is on a down trend - Every team (especially HR) is understaffed - Lack of clarity from engineering management and product management

Thanks for your thoughts on what is going well and where we can improve. Work-life balance and employee empowerment are really important to us, and I am glad it shows up for you. On the concerns you raise: - Office Culture - I hear you. One of the critical challenges for us in this hybrid remote work environment is fostering a strong culture when everyone is not co-located. I think we have made improvements here since you posted this, but we are in good company with other businesses still figuring out how to do this effectively. - Understaffed - We have done a LOT of hiring since June '22, including in HR, and I hope you feel a lot better about this now. - Clarity between engineering and product management - I can see why you would have this concern during this time period. The good news is that two weeks ago, we hired a new Chief Product Officer, Brian Gottesman, and his top priority with Quentin, our CTO, is to create that clarity for everyone. Thanks, -Ross, CEO

Thanks for sharing. I am disappointed you didn't feel you had a good experience with us. While I can't speak to the specifics of you being micro-managed, I agree that it isn't ideal. We coach our managers extensively to focus on outputs and expectations with employees. In our last employee poll in10/22, 91% of employees said their manager encourages initiative and independence. While I will always strive to get to 100%, I feel pretty good about where we are now. On the work-life balance issue, I hear you that instability in this area can be a real challenge, and we certainly strive to minimize that. In that same poll, 80% of employees felt they could have a good work-life balance. Lastly, with regards to career growth, that can be a more nuanced issue, as it depends on the role, level, and where the business is investing. Regardless, we have invested a lot in developing clear career paths in our technology organization and will look to do so in the rest of the company in 2023. -Ross, CEO
