Pros

Great Milwaukee management team, new properties, flexible schedule, growing district, and the ability to take full control of your operation and lead your team the way you want to.

Cons

If you run a 24-Hour operation and your 3rd shift employee doesn't show up.. That's you. Can be difficult managing mostly college students.

Pros

Extremely fast growth; advancement is likely. Good place to become a manager with little or no college education.

Cons

The hospitality side of Towne Park is a 24-7 business 365 days per year. Account Managers will often work 7 days per week as your phone and email will constantly need attention on your (few) days off. The salary is not commensurate with the hours and duties expected. Account Managers have to meet all client and guest expectations, outlined in your job description, but what's not described is Towne Park's tedious, often redundant, corporate metrics. Their claim to value operational excellence is undermined by the constant roadblocks that prohibit true productivity. These impediments range from inessential conference calls and meetings, to tracking basic job duties because the District or Area Manager is stretched too thin to be on site. If you are successful at this position, you will be qualified to run almost any business as you will have to become adept in all areas of the business including: Financial Management (Full P&L responsibility) Human Resources (All hiring, firing, and associate discipline) Client Relationships (All hotel brand standards, plus all Towne Park requirements. This job is similar to running two businesses) Customer service (You will handle all guest issues- not matter what time of day or night- including auto claims ranging from vehicle damage to theft) All of the above is expected on an average salary of $45,000. Good Luck.

Thank you for your ten years of service. We are very fortunate to have you as an associate and I agree that the growth opportunities and the ability to shape your career, as you noted, are two of the best aspects of being a part of Towne Park.
