Pros

Awesome work environment, great leadership, incentives, everyone is so willing to help you with whatever you need help on, training is great and many opportunities to move up.

Cons

Long hours, rude customers, complicated programs, the only thing I disliked was having to rearrange the items that were thrown everywhere after the shift, you had to stay until you fixed your section.

Pros

-Flexible hours -Coworkers can be cool -At least one nice customer a week

Cons

-Do you have a Toys 'R' Us rewards card you want to use? -Oh, well then would you like to sign up for one? -Okay, we are also doing donations for Toys for Tots, would you like to help out with a dollar or more? -Not today? Also, was this purchase for a baby registry? -It looks like this product is covered by our Buyer Protection Plan. It will cover damage for 2 years for only 42.99! Did you want to add it? -That's alright, are you sure? It covers drops, cracks, and spills! -Okay. It looks like some of your products need batteries. 2 AA, 4 AAA, and an LR44. Did you want to pick some up right now? -Your total comes to $100. You know, you could save 15% by signing up for a Toys 'R' Us credit card! That would be $15! -This is what management wants. To be a "STAR" employee, we must "always be asking". And then they only have one cashier working at a time, so the line gets massively backed up since transactions are so slow. -You will feel pressured to get metrics. Sometimes there are even veiled threats of termination for underperforming cashiers. -If you aren't working the front of the store, you will work the floor, and be a customer slave. But you won't have to worry about metrics!

Pros

Dealing with most customers is great, usually have plenty to do

Cons

No one is your friend and you can be back stabbed at any moment, the metrics make the job way more stressful than it should, management doesn't know what they are doing.
