Pros

-Pay is competitive -Competitive product offering makes it feel like your customers and work really matters -Great collaboration with other departments. People genuinely want to help -Trainings are great -Positive shoutouts in team/company calls are great.

Cons

A ton of change in leadership in the past few years. As the company grows this makes sense, but definitely has caused challenges with consistency and some areas of execution. Need more feedback opportunities with leadership, with tracking and results vs just listening Health benefits are more on the expensive side, Benefits in general could use some attention

"We’re glad you find the compensation, collaboration, and product strong—and appreciate the shoutout for our training and recognition efforts. We’ve invested in resources like our Leadership Academy, Skillsoft Percipio unlimited access, and expanded Engineering and Sales training to support ongoing development. We also appreciate the note on benefits and will continue evaluating how we support our team holistically. Thanks again for recognizing the progress—and reminding us to celebrate it more!"

Pros

Cash compensation is competitive, interesting industry, remote work.

Cons

Without going into any detail (IYKYK...), my suggestion is to not work at TravelNet. Make of this review what you will. The tech labor market is in freefall, but I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Micromanagement, Poor Leadership, Mediocre Product Offering

Pros

Good People, Friendly, Cool Perks, Pay is Good, but only because the benefits suck.

Cons

Maybe I just have a bad manager? But there is a ton of micromanagement. It's like they created a fully distributed and remote environment, but don't trust anyone to work remotely. It's ironic. At first I thought it was just me or my manager, but after speaking with many teammates it's a company wide culture. Boogie (The CEO) has even said he prefers all of us to be in the office, what? Why would you become the CEO of a company that is fully remote then. Customers are never happy. High turnover rate. Always outages and bug fixes required. Zero career growth opportunities. They also make it clear that you can lose your job at any minute. Benefits are hot garbage. But that's to be expected for a company this small. They offer HSA match, 401K match, dental, vision and health, pay makes up for the benefits cost though.

Thanks for sharing your feedback—we’re glad you enjoy your team and appreciate the callout on our people and pay. We also hear your concerns. We are always working on building more trust and reducing unnecessary meetings, and we’re rolling out training to help our leaders better support remote teams. As a longtime proponent of Patrick Lencioni's leadership approaches, Boogie is well aware and teaches that Trust is a foundational element in great companies as depicted in the 5 dysfunctions of a team. Boogie’s comment about in person work, was about missing the day-to-day interaction with people that naturally happen in person—it wasn’t meant to undermine our commitment to being remote-first. We are remote first and will continue to be. Career growth is a focus too—development plans are available to anyone, and we’re encouraging more regular growth conversations.. We appreciate the feedback as it helps us get better and as Boogie often says, Feedback is a gift. Feel free to reach out to him directly with your thoughts and ideas.
