A good place to work but full of frustrating politics

Lots of nice people working there, friendly environment, competitive pay (depends on the department), great benefits, interesting product to work on, potential to advance between and within certain departments.

Cons

Management is downright clueless and over confident based on prior successes. Politically structured with top management in place for up to 15-20 years, so there is a clear buddy system where rewards and promotions are concerned. Rewards based more on appealing to your supervisor's personal agenda than to the company's bottom line.
