Pros
- Job security (we're a market leader that's been around a long time, and were recently acquired by Carsales) - New engineering leadership is prioritizing new technologies and modernizing applications - Work/life balance is what you make it. If you want to block off time on your calendar to go to the gym, get the kids, etc., nobody questions it! - I genuinely find my team's work interesting, and enjoy it! - Good people (for the most part)
Cons
- Pay and PTO are below market value - No 401K matching until you've worked here a year - We have to log everything we do time-wise in an app. "I reviewed code for 15 minutes, I was on a call for 30 minutes, etc." It's for tax purposes (and other obvious reasons), and it's not hard at all. Just really annoying.
