Pros

Great office space. Decent benefits. Generous PTO. Great # of paid holidays.

Cons

Medical could be better. Pay isn't always competitive either. Advancement sometimes seems based more on who you know and not what you know.

Thanks for the positive rating! We're constantly working to improve our benefits and make them less expensive, which is a tough juggling act. As you see problems with benefits, please share feedback with a member of the HR team so we can address, and we absolutely factor your feedback into our decisions about vendors and plan features each year. You should expect to be paid competitively for the market, and for individual performance. If you're feeling out of alignment with that, please let us know. Certainly talk with your manager, who can and should take ownership. Advancement should be based on merit so that's another issue to raise with your manager. In both cases, we promote our Open Door policy and expect that employees will raise issues as they see them, which is a great way to ensure action is taken.

Pros

Monday thru Friday schedule. Nice modern office facility with free coffee and soft drinks.

Cons

Fast-paced training with too much info to learn quickly. Low pay and must be tech savy from day 1 in order to get through the training.

Thanks for the positive review, and recognition of how hard we're working to make Trader a great place to work. You're right about the stretch—we're moving into more ambitious territory as a company and it's important that people recognize the need for all of us to build skills, set the bar higher, and collaborate more with colleagues. You arrived at a good time! :)
