Pros

Good monetary compensation and nice discount on food. Decent benefits

Cons

The shifts are inhuman. 5pm-1a is difficult. They also CONSTANTLY change the shifts your body clock doesn't get to adjust. You feel like a vampire with no life.

Pros

Pros: Friendly coworkers Employee discount Managers had a good sense of how long to put workers on boring tasks (no standing at a cash register for 8 hours straight)

Cons

Cons: Boring work Customers at Trader Joe's (at least where I worked) can be very annoying with a sense of entitlement Sometimes hard to get hours

Pros

Great if you are a student and need a lot of flexibility. The post there schedule at least a week in advance so you can make plans. Plus you get a 10% discount.

Cons

Getting all weekends off is not going to happen. If you are a extremely hard worker supervisors will get you off the register.
