Pros

- You work for an international company - Bosses are kind to their employees - Sometimes they listen to you

Cons

- Doesn’t have a competitive benefits and salary - Annual Salary Increase does not depend on the year you were hired - Always compromises the timeline of the project because client wants to adjust - No trainings provided - Wants the employee to excel by its own without providing proper trainings - Does not hire enough employee thats why some would have to extend to render overtimes

Pros

-Get the chance to work with world-renown Japanese brands -Most colleagues are helpful and friendly -Can go back on time -Plenty of food choices nearby -Free company lunch during festive holidays

Cons

-World class system of 12 days pro-rated annual leave, truly a one-of-its-kind in Malaysia -Top management people are living in a bubble of their own, creating a huge gap between themselves and the employees. They have zero leadership and communication skills (which stems from arrogance and elitism) and as such, there is no clear vision or strategy of where the company is heading towards to. In reality, its more like a "let's swim with the tide and try to ride a big wave" kind of approach. -There is a lack of transparency where a lot of information is not being communicated to the employees, and people will only find out the consequences of their actions/mistakes when it is too late. When a person does something they don't like or disapprove of, they choose to remain silent and not correct him/her on the spot; instead, they will accumulate your mistakes as 'evidence', and unleash them at you after it has escalated past a certain level to be a big enough issue. -The management are manipulative and insincere when it comes to career advancement opportunities. Everything is just lip service and nothing will materialise at all. Sooner or later, you will learn to weed out all the BS and see through their blatant lies when try to comfort and console you with their empty promises. The reality is, nobody has ever been promoted - even if you are clearly the only expert in a particular subject matter, you will not get the recognition and respect that you deserve. They would rather recruit someone externally who is unproven and pay them a higher salary; rather than promoting internal staff who have demonstrated a rockstar level of performance on a consistent basis. -If you can do your job well, great! The company doesn't need to hire, you'll help to save up on manpower costs, and you get to enjoy extra workload too! -Overall, there is a subdued environment at work where it is glaringly obvious that people are unhappy and demotivated, but the management doesn't bother to do anything about it and choose to ignore the elephant in the room. -Year end review system is a joke. Period. -There are a lot of ridiculous rules/practices in the office which makes you wonder "does common sense still exist?" -The list goes on and on and on...
