Decent culture with great people, may vary by department
Pros
Management at various levels is mostly supportive & reachable, solid workplace culture with natural diversity & inclusion, solid company vision & core values, decent coworkers, very low turnover exists with some teams & departments, high customer retention rate, decent benefits via ADP for privately owned tech corp, provides some professional development resources, moving across departments is possible, work life balance supported by FTO & C-Suite verbal commitments to it, most org restructuring or redirection has seemed logical & beneficial. Improvements since Transact Campus was sold by Blackboard in 2019: Company growth potential is being realized with a couple product lines, more research & development in some emerging products, new CEO seems to be have more focus on what the company needs to do to grow.
Cons
Mismanagement of certain projects & products, product management organization is newer and depends heavily on other departments, mid and upper management can drive interruptions to existing priorities, slower or very rare vertical advancement opportunities in certain departments, significant changes in upper management or direction have taken place about once a year for the past several years.
