Pros

You should work here if: 1. You want to comply and have no original thoughts or ideas 2. Be an order taker and not make waves 3. Don't have a need to express and come up with new way of doing things 4. Be a puppet employee 5. Want to get paid to do the very minimum and sometimes even no work 6. Don't need training or career advancement 7. Do a job that you may not be quite qualified to do or want to do

Cons

The two key people in management (marketing) at this location are so incompetent, unscrupulous, inexperienced. Taking the department in a downward spiral. Rampant bullying, and harassment is tolerated and protected by HR. Lot of nepotism, unethical politics. Employees there know this but are afraid to speak up for fear of their jobs. Dictatorship galore! The other locations are under fear of their jobs because of the lack of honesty and integrity of the person in charge. Lot of lip service and contradictory behavior. They say something just to appease and then do just the opposite. Don't like those who speak up and have a differing opinion and do not foster the growth of smart, talented people. Rather just want those who will be puppets and keep their head down and work without causing any waves.

Pros

There are a lot of great ideas being brought to the corporate culture and are trying to improve the morale and current atmosphere in the workplace. Great start for entry level position in the financial industry.

Cons

The opportunity for growth is minimal if you do not network you cannot enhance your career. Management is not supportive especially in the contact centers!!! They are all on their high horses and don't have time for anyone but their selves.

Pros

New exercise facilities, good vacation time, tuition reimbursement. Honestly that's about it. There is not much to celebrate at Transamerica.

Cons

Micro-managing, incapable management staff, HORRIBLE medical insurance, negative work environment (employees for the most part are unhappy as a whole), human resources is a joke, favoritism and promotions based on friendships not merit, management is closed minded, sub-par pay. Overall this place sucks any happiness out of you. I wish I was being dramatic.
