Emphasis to reduce costs at large expense

Pros

Company provides a flexible work environment. The company offers very competitive, if not above average, benefits package. There are many talented hard working individuals at all levels in the organization.

Cons

The company is struggling in reducing it's operating expenses. Cost saving initiatives have not been planned and executed well. The plans also lacked proper transparency leaving employees skeptical of senior management motives and reducing employee morale. Communication, both from a vertical and horizontal organization perspective, is very poor within the company. Employee satisfaction with the company has been dropping over the past couple of years.

Too much bureaucracy to get anything done. The company often talked about championing innovation and catching up with other industries but always failed to implement.
