At Transamerica we strive to create a healthy work-life balance. We want employees to partake in the working from home option when it makes sense, so we are happy to hear you are utilizing this. Layoffs have taken place and they are never easy. Restructuring can also create opportunities for advancements. You might consider speaking to your HR Business Partner to discuss next steps in your career. We wish you much success!

Pros

We have some flexibility in hours, and working from home option right now. Team members make it a little easier to go to work everyday

Cons

Poor communication from manager. Layoffs are becoming a common theme. Benefits are getting worse. They seem to continue to allow unqualified people keep their jobs, management and associates alike. Reviews, raises and bonuses are pathetic for the associates but upper management and executives could live off their bonus alone.

Not a good experience

Pros

Sure, you get to meet new people if you are sociable. There are events to go to and speakers who teach you about things all the time.

Cons

As you know the CEO's/MD's etc. speaking to you will have a lot of money and you will barely learn how to become one of them. They also present the same information to you over and over after a while with their presentations. This company follows a pyramid scheme type business model where you need to continue "pulling" people in under you to sign up (with their own money of course) and then they are able to "work" for the company = pulling in more people under their wings.
