Pros

Employees are the best part of the company. Great people, committed to their job and all about doing what is best for the company and customers.

Cons

Executive management has their heads in the sand. They are a bunch of Taxi people running a mega transportation company with no clue how to compete with the likes of Uber and the evolving transportation marketplace. They are all about friends and family hiring and as they downsize due to earnings evaporating due to their arrogance, quality people are let go in favor of the inside group. Promotions are rare, pay is substandard and the respect for the individual is lower than the morale. I would avoid this place, the future is not bright as long as the current executive team is in place. Their thinking, "if it worked in 1984 it should work in 2016" and "Uber is just a fad"

Pros

While I did not favor this company, it was a decent, steady job that allowed me to provide for myself and family.

Cons

Low starting pay, with poor training. New Bus Operators are often required to operate bus routes that they have not been trained to operate.

Pros

Mostly nice trainers and coworkers; great managers. They pay and train you to get a CDL B. Very tolerant of sick days off. Lots of overtime opportunity, and decent pay.

Cons

Split shifts will run you ragged. You start work around 4-5am and return 9am, then you start again around 1pm and finish at 7-8pm. You might get around 4-5 hours of sleep every work night, then they expect you to make-up the rest of the sleep between your split shifts. This is why bus drivers fall asleep and crash. A small mistake on this job can result in multiple counts of involuntary manslaughter. You deal with people of all walks of life; believe it or not, the rich and entitled are the worst. Bathroom breaks are far between; sometimes not at all.

Overworked & underpaid!

Pros

Paycheck. Lots of work if you want overtime.

Cons

Low pay for Los Angeles. Mandatory work on your day off. Days off are not together. Time points on route are almost impossible to keep. You get stuck at layover zones for hours on an unpaid split, left to sit in the car with sometimes with another driver or sometimes no car so you have to walk around or find somewhere to sit for hours.

Pros

The people it's easy work. good work-life balance

Cons

They pay at the lower end of the dispatching salary range which is anywhere from 12-17 hrly. I was okay with that in the beginning because I had no dispatching experience, However once I hit a year I felt I should have been compensated a lot better. I felt 15hrly would have been nice, instead the gave me a cost of living raise (went up to 12.36 from 12.00 , yippie) and made up some bullcrap about being tight on budget.

Pros

Convenient job if you’re a student(work in between classes) Most of the coworkers are nice and easy to get along with.

Cons

Students get upset at you for following company and university policy. Pay could be better considering most of the surrounding companies pay $14+ an hour.
