Pros

Committed to DEI, decent pay & benefits

Cons

Chronically understaffed, leans too heavily on whoever is left. Expect return to office with no real justification, and totally unconcerned with how this hits morale and retention.

No room to grow

Pros

Great people if you get lucky with your team. Great starting pay.

Cons

Refuse to give competitive raises to employees. Horrible retention rate for non-senior level positions. They would rather hire out for new roles than give promotions. Yearly raise usually less than inflation rates. Very cliquey. Seems like the worst possible fit for a promotion tends to get the promotion. Management likes to pass all blame down to lower level employees, but take credit for positive feedback.

Pros

There really are not any pros to working for Travelers

Cons

No opportunity for advancement, very low pay compared to industry peers. total lack of leadership from the top down. Extremely poor management style especially in the technology area. You are treated as less than a person unless you have VP in your title.
