Pros

As an outside sales rep with Trelevate you are given the opportunity to grow financially as you manage your own territory. With outside sales you must have that internal fire to succeed and I have found that the management team locally and at the executive level are there to support my growth. I was looking to invest in my best asset and that asset was me. With continued training on a daily and/or weekly basis, my team shares their experiences on how I can grow individually and potentially lead others in the future. When I am ready I will be looking into Trelevate's career development program. The opportunity is there, I just have to reach for it. The company is relatively young as a group but the vast experience I have had with leaders from other markets really has shown the depth of the talent Trelevate owns. I feel like there is a new book being written about outsourcing sales teams and another page is written every day.

Cons

Outside sales is not for everyone and there are a lot of no's looking at you in the field. If you cannot accept several no's before a yes, this outside sale is not for you.

Pros

I've worked with many different companies over the years but have never worked with people who genuinely care about the co-workers as Trelevate does. I've watched the company grow very quickly over the past few years, which is always a challenge for any organization. The leaderships goal is to constantly build knowledge and ability for all members in each department to achieve at their highest potential. Here are some highlights I have watched take place: - Each national office ran an outreach to help those less fortunate and as a team and fed over 100 families for Thanksgiving - Part of the corporate culture involves sponsoring children in different parts of the world - Between the benefits, contest, bonuses and team building events, I've not witnessed a company that puts a priority on its team members to achieve and be part of the success - All Leadership personnel are very competent in what they do and have spent years doing it. There are no advisers, only experts - By far and most interesting is the desire to coach and improve its team members through training, coaching, and outside advisers - no one allows the status quo There is so many other things to share, but what matters are the ethics displayed and the results that are achieved

Cons

Sale positions and leadership that require a high level of ability to achieve, is not for the everyday job seeker . This company and a role available, may not be for everyone. Even great companies aren't perfect, but ones that work at improving are admirable. Its disappointing to watch those who blame others for not reaching their goals. Sales, Management and any department role requires ethics, and effort. You will need to bring it to be part of this company as it grows

Pros

Anyone can learn to sell electric and gas, as it is easy to read a bill and quote a price.

Cons

The employee is not valued in this weekly quota sales job. There are no leads, no potential customer base information and no sales support.
