Pros

Picked hours mostly, flexible schedule

Cons

No punishment was instilled (everyone was late, didn’t care if you were late) and policies seemed to be washed over if I’m a time of need. High turnover made it ineffective for the benefit of the kids and their actual needs.

Pros

Working with the kids is life changing. You truly share a sense of camaraderie with like-minded staff when you work with children with autism.

Cons

Unrealistic productivity expectations for professional level staff. Little support for teachers and 1:1 instructors. Very disorganized. No HR support (HR is provided by the parent company Learn It systems so HR is very disconnected). VERY poor management of PTO and benefits- they release the school calendar very late an "black out" dates that staff are allowed to take off (literally some of the black out dates are on scheduled breaks).
